Join us on the 14th October for our Autumn community day in the garden. Our popular willow-weaving workshops are back, alongside a plant & cake sale to raise ever-needed funds for the garden.
End of season plant sale
Take a piece of the Helmsley Walled Garden home with some of the plants for sale, grown and tended to by our garden-volunteers. Gardeners will be on hand to offer advice too. Alongside our plants, we will also be selling a scrumptious range of cakes and bakes, made by our small team of staff and volunteers. All funds are raised to support the ongoing restoration of Helmsley Walled Garden.
And make sure you visit our garden shop, which stocks a wide range of unique products and gifts for the home and garden. You may visit our shop, plant and cake sale without entry to the garden but why not make a day of it, and see the Garden in all its Autumnal glory. Entry is reduced to just £7 for all-day entry, under-16s are free as usual. Gardener’s World 2-4-1 and other discounted offers are not valid on event days.
Gates open at 10am and last entry is at 4pm. Dogs on leads are welcome through-out the garden, shop and plant centre and the Vine House Café is dog friendly too!
Willow weaving workshop – SOLD OUT
Learn how to create a climbing frame from willow, perfect for growing sweet peas, climbing beans or other annual climbers. We have two 2.5hr workshops on offer, in the morning and the afternoon. Places are limited. Workshop price includes entry to garden.
