Helmsley Walled Garden Community Day
Save the date – 10th June 2023
We’re kicking off the summer with a community event day on Saturday, 10th June. Everyone is welcome.
Learn a new hobby and try your hand at willow-weaving in the morning, taking home a new skill and an ornament.
Practice your picnicking prowess ahead of National Picnic Week – bring your tartan rugs and basket to enjoy your lunch on our lawn. Or, new to Events at the Garden, pre-book a delicious Vine House Café lunch box to be enjoyed in the garden.
Between 2 and 3pm, children can pick a posy to take home, identifying flowers as they go.
All of these are offered first-come, first-served so be quick and book fast. Come and enjoy the sounds, the scents and spend time in a beautiful garden.
The garden is open at 10am, with last entry at 4pm. Entry on the day will be reduced to just £7 for adults. All children under 16 have free entry. Dogs on leads are welcome.
The willow weaving courses have kindly been subsidised by a grant from Helmsley Town Council.
