Working With Colour II: A Two Day Course in Painting and Mixed Media

This course is designed for those that are totally new to painting, but also those that have some past experience and might be looking to rekindle a love of the medium. We will look at the fundamental elements of painting which can then provide you with the basic building blocks to develop further; colour, hues, colour temperature and colour theory will all be explored. Exploring these various elements will provide an inspiring artistic challenge for all. Subject matter will be taken directly from the walled garden, which at this time of year is bursting with form, shape and colour. This course is designed to inspire!

In terms of medium, we will look at using watercolour paint, pastel and crayon.

This is one of three courses in creativity. There is a course that focusses on drawing, details of which can be found here, and another course on painting which can be booked here. They can either be booked together as they relate, or separately.
