Sustainable Festive Wreaths (two dates available)
Due to popular demand for this workshop we have now added an additional day, on Friday 6th December.
Make a sustainable Christmas wreath for the festive season.
You’ll use long lengths of willow to create a base ring for your wreath and then get creative, using lots of foliage to decorate your wreath. You may want to take a bit of time to wander into the garden and forage some additional materials, such as seed heads.
These wreaths are good for the environment as they are made from 100% natural materials, and the willow-base will last you for years.
These workshops are run by Janice Burley, from Down 2 Earth. Janice is a garden designer and willow weaver. With twenty years of gardening experience and more recently, willow weaving – Janice likes to share her knowledge and skills to encourage other people to get creative with their environment. Spaces are limited so book your place now. Each workshop starts at 10.30am and will finish around 1pm.
A minimum of 4 bookings are required in order for the workshop to go ahead. There is a maximum of 8 bookings per class, to allow everyone the space and attention they need.
