Come along and join us for an afternoon of classical music and community spirit as we raise funds to maintain our beautiful walled garden, so it can continue to be enjoyed for many more generations.
Mozart Serenade No.10 ‘Gran Partita’ (K.361) for 13 Wind Soloists
Helmsley Walled Garden Manager and former Principal Bassoon Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Chris Cooper, brings together a group of friends from professional orchestras across the UK to perform Mozart’s majestic Gran Partita.
Featured in the film Amadeus, this seminal work for wind ensemble is a miniature symphony for 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 basset horns, 3 bassoons and 4 horns.
Doors at 1.30pm for refreshments
Performance 2.30pm
There will be a 20 minute interval
HAC’s bar will be open, along with the provided refreshments as part of your ticket!
There will be a luxury raffle and an exhibition of art from HWG resident artist Claire Belbin
