Working with colour: painting and mixed media with Clare Belbin

This course is designed for both those who are totally new to painting as well as those with some past experience who are looking to rekindle a love of the medium.
We will look at the fundamental elements of painting which can then provide you with the basic building blocks to develop further; colour, hues, colour temperature and colour theory will all be explored. Exploring these various elements will provide an inspiring artistic challenge for all. Subject matter will be taken directly from the walled garden, which at this time of year is bursting with form, shape and colour. This course is designed to inspire!
This course is one of two courses in creativity. The other course focusses on drawing, details of which can be found here. They can either be booked together as they relate, or separately.
Who is the course for?
Everyone from beginners to those with experience wanting to refresh.
