Nettles & Petals – Talk & Book Signing with Jamie Walton

Join us for an exciting opportunity to hear local author, Jamie Walton, talk us through his approach to horticulture and conservation upon the recent publication of his latest book, Nettles & Petals (Quarto Books UK).
Jamie Walton is an ecological horticulturist and conservationist, growing food, flowers, and microbes
in North Yorkshire. His mission is to support others on their gardening journey, regardless of their
circumstances. Since founding @nettlesandpetals, Jamie has gained a global audience who share
inspiring posts on gardening, conservation, and growing plants and vegetables using ecological
methods. By focusing on sustainability, Jamie not only teaches people how to grow their own food but

This event forms part of our community day and is FREE OF CHARGE WITH PAID GARDEN ENTRY which will be at a reduced cost of £7.00 per person. As space is limited you must PRE-BOOK YOUR FREE TICKET ONLINE. Only valid ticket holders will be permitted to attend this event.
The event will take place in the Orchid House. Please bear in mind that seating is limited so you may need to stand.
Carers and under 16’s are free entry to the garden. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Gates open at 10am and close at 5pm (last garden entry is at 4pm).
