May Community Day

Come along and explore the garden as it comes to life once more, bursting with colour and vibrancy.
Join us for a guided tour of the garden, meeting outside the Orchid House at 11 AM. This tour is free with paid entry to the garden. It will last approximately one hour and is accessible to everyone. One of our knowledgeable volunteers will lead the tour, providing a great opportunity to hear interesting anecdotes about our history and discover seasonal highlights.
As part of this community day we are also holding a talk by local author, ecological horticulturist and conservationist, Jamie Walton, on his newly published book, Nettles & Petals (Quarto Books UK). This event is free with paid garden entry, but to join the talk you must pre-book your ticket via the below link.

Entry to the garden will be at a reduced price of £7.00 per person (no need to pre-book). Under 16’s and carers are free of charge. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome throughout the site.
*Free tours are limited to 25 people, on a first-come, first-served basis
