Drawing from nature with Clare Belbin
Whether you are totally new to drawing or have past experience and are looking to rekindle a
love of the medium, this course will provide an inspiring artistic challenge. We will look at
the fundamental elements of drawing which can then provide you with the basic building
blocks to develop further; shape, line, rhythm and tone will all be explored. Subject matter
will be taken directly from the walled garden, which at this time of year is bursting with
form, shape and texture. This course is designed to inspire!
We will look at using graphite, charcoal and conte as well as the use of colour.
This course is one of two courses in creativity. The other course focuses on painting, details of which can be found here. They can either be booked together as they relate, or separately.
Who is the course for?
Anyone from complete beginners to those with experience wanting to refresh.
